The Orange County Elections Administration Office demonstrated how to use the new Express Vote voting machines at the Orange Public Library on Thursday, February 28. These Express Vote voting machines will be used for all elections moving forward.
The Texas General Land Office (GLO) allocated $100 million in Community Development Block Grants for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds to reimburse homeowners for up to $50,000 in out-of-pocket expenses to repair their Hurricane Harvey damaged homes. To be eligible for this program, the home must be the owner’s primary residence and eligible repairs must have been completed prior to the application launch date of Feb. 28, 2019. Applications are anticipated to outnumber available funds, so apply quickly!

The Orange County Elections Administration Office will be conducting demonstrations on how to use the new Express Vote voting machines that will be used for all elections. The demonstrations will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 during the hours of 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Orange Public Library in the Ira Williamson Meeting Room (inside the Orange Public Library). These demonstrations are open to the public and should take approximately 5 minutes.
